This lovely soap joins our growing collection of soaps made with my husband’s home brew beer. Beer is rich in proteins, vitamins and nutrients. It also contains avocado oil, castor oil, coconut oil (a cleansing oil that produces big bubbles), olive oil (which produces a mild, creamy lather), and Shea butter. It gets its rich, wonderful scent from the addition of a clove/orange essential oil blend.

Make sure to check out our other home brew beer soaps here.

* each bar weighs approx. 4 oz. prior to curing.
* each bar is approx. 2.75” wide x 2.75” high x 1” thick.

Ingredients: beer, olive oil, coconut oil, avocado oil, shea butter, sodium hydroxide, essential oil blend (clove/orange), castor oil.

(Due to the nature of handmade soaps, the appearance will vary from batch to batch. While we do our best to maintain consistency among each new batch, the product you purchase may appear different from what is pictured.)

Wonderful soap!

I used to buy a posh soaps for men. But as my knowledge grew about what the ingredients were, I switched to handmade, clean label soaps. I found a great little business made right in my home town that made soaps I fell in love with. All natural, and without the chemicals or harsh detergents that strip natural oils from your skin, their soaps improved my skin health. Sadly an electrical fire burned the business down a few years back, and I’ve been searching a similiar soap since. This is as close as I’ve found. It’s a clean ingredient label, with simple ingredients, and thankfully, no colorants or “fragrance”. (I wish more soap makers understood I’m shopping for a natural soap for a reason and don’t want any color or fragrance-just essential oils). I use my bar for both hair and body. It lathers silky smooth, with a good clove scent. (Please know natural soaps aren’t going to ever be as scented as factory bars, and the soap base has its own scent a bit different from factory bars. Don’t judge that at something being wrong with the bar). One side note, I’ve learned I don’t like bars with things (herbs, petals, coffee beans) in the soap-the scrubby feel isn’t something I enjoy on a daily basis as I feel like it takes away from the feel. If you need a “scrub” bar for dirty hands, it’s different but the lather on this soap is so smooth I’d hate to have the bar feel rough.
