I used to buy a posh soaps for men. But as my knowledge grew about what the ingredients were, I switched to handmade, clean label soaps. I found a great little business made right in my home town that made soaps I fell in love with. All natural, and without the chemicals or harsh detergents that strip natural oils from your skin, their soaps improved my skin health. Sadly an electrical fire burned the business down a few years back, and Iāve been searching a similiar soap since. This is as close as Iāve found. Itās a clean ingredient label, with simple ingredients, and thankfully, no colorants or āfragranceā. (I wish more soap makers understood Iām shopping for a natural soap for a reason and donāt want any color or fragrance-just essential oils). I use my bar for both hair and body. It lathers silky smooth, with a good clove scent. (Please know natural soaps arenāt going to ever be as scented as factory bars, and the soap base has its own scent a bit different from factory bars. Donāt judge that at something being wrong with the bar). One side note, Iāve learned I donāt like bars with things (herbs, petals, coffee beans) in the soap-the scrubby feel isnāt something I enjoy on a daily basis as I feel like it takes away from the feel. If you need a āscrubā bar for dirty hands, itās different but the lather on this soap is so smooth Iād hate to have the bar feel rough.
