This beautiful bar of soap is made with only one oil - 100% extra virgin olive oil. Castile soap is rumored to have been around since the 17th century. Then it was made with laurel oil. But since laurel oil was not readily available in certain parts of Europe (specifically Castile, Spain) they used olive oil instead. And Castile soap was born! Today any soap made with one type of oil can be called Castile soap. However traditional Castile soap is made with olive oil.

Several factors make this very different from other soaps. First, Castile soap takes anywhere from 6 months to one year to cure. Many people claim that the longer it cures the better it is. It is also a very versatile soap and can be used to not only wash you but also your dog, your dishes, your windows, your bath tub or even your clothes.

It is also perfect for anyone with sensitive skin. It is a biodegradable, vegan, environmentally-friendly soap with a shelf-life of about three years but I guarantee when you buy some it won’t last that long!

* each bar weighs approx. 4 oz. prior to curing.
* each bar is approx. 2.75” wide x 3” high x 1” thick.

Ingredients: olive oil, sodium hydroxide, distilled water.

(Due to the nature of handmade soaps, the appearance will vary from batch to batch. While we do our best to maintain consistency among each new batch, the product you purchase may appear different from what is pictured.)

Some of the best ever!

The Castile Soap is by far, one of the best soaps I've used. It takes off make-up cleanly and efficiently, and moisturizes my skin. It even easily removes heavy stage make up. It's long lasting, lathers well and leaves your skin smooth and feeling wonderful! If you're "on the fence," JUMP OFF and order it now!
